Collecting and Fabricating Landscapes
July 19 - 24, 2026
I am looking forward to returning to Tennessee and being part of the @arrowmont_school crew summer 2026. And I am excited to get to meet all the students, faculty, staff, and students at Arrowmont during this week.
Arrowmont has been described as magical, life-changing, inspiring, invigorating and more. This experience, meaningful, moving and affirming, is not something easily put into words. It is different each day and for each individual. The essence of the experience is grounded in exploration and discovery – conscious and subliminal. Whether walking through gallery exhibitions on the way to a studio, sharing meals and laughter, struggling to refine an idea, discovering new materials or collaborating with others, students are inspired by the time spent here.

Funded by the City of Fort Worth 2008 Bond Program (Proposition 1), Unfolding Time features two statement sculptures that encourage viewers to consider time as both endless and cyclical. Situated in the roundabouts at Cromwell-Marine Creek Road and Longhorn Road, the artworks respond to their respective sites by likening them to a clock, conceptualizing time through form and language.
