Success soaps from divertissement, (2005-2008)
“Divertissement” is the a brief entertainment or diversion, usually between the acts of a play. In my body of artwork, titled divertissement, each piece explores types of diversions that are easy to get distracted by while pursuing happiness. success, success 2, and canned success are three of these pieces. Each of these use the symbol of Monopoly hotel game pieces as trophies for success; however, these trophies are temporary if actually used for washing as the material soap suggests.
